Our Events
The majority of our events are currently held at the Elbert County Fairgrounds in Kiowa, CO. We offer Open Gymkhanas once a month, March-October. Fundraisers are scheduled throughout the year, with our Annual Veteran's Fundraiser show every winter.
Our Community
High Plains Trail Riders supports other non-profits and causes in our communities through the proceeds generated by the events we host. We have a scholarship program and have supported the youth in our local communities through our outreach in the schools and education organizations.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to promote the development of horsemanship in all ages, encourage friendly competition, celebrate the importance of family and friends coming together, to demonstrate true sportsmanship, and support our community.
